Installing Ooma as a second line

Post by astjason1 » Wed Mar 24, 2010 11:40 am

Hello,
I feel it would be best to just explain what I want to do. I currently have an existing landline with ATT and wish to keep it, but only for incoming calls. I want to set up my ooma to be used only for outgoing calls. How would I go about doing this? Do I need to get a second line specifically for the ooma? Can this only be implemented with Ooma Premier? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

You could activate/register Ooma with a number from our system & use the Ooma
independent of your Landline with AT&T. We just need a high speed internet connection.
Once your Ooma is up, you can make & receive calls. It would be nice if you continue with premiere
options, but not necessary. Upon purchase, you get to use premiere services on a trial basis.
