Ooma Hub line 1 Red Blinking after VM was left

Hi,

I have a Ooma Hub that is only connected to cable Internet, no wall connection and direct connect from hub to phone.

When there is voice mail left on the system, the line 1 button is blinking and the right arrow (play) button is blinking. When I pick up the phone that is connected to the hub, I hear no dial tone, unless I hang up again then the line 1 light is off. I pick up the phone, and dial tone is there, normal again.

Is this normal?

No, that's not normal. Line 1 should turn off after the voicemail is left.

Try powering off the Hub and reconnect power to reboot to see if that helps.

Hi,

I've powered it down & up.

I think the blinking means that it has not hung up. So when I pick up the attached phone, I have to hang up again.

I think this only occurs on my test call from Google Voice call which I pick up using Gizmo. i.e. I have GV call my Ooma number and GV connects me through my Gizmo number.

Have you confirmed that it all works correctly when calling your Ooma number directly?

Calling directly works fine.
