I just received a replacement handset to replace one that the #5 key did not work. I have four handsets and when I enter the pin number it just comes back and asks me for the pin # again. Am I going to have to do a total reset of the system to install the replacement handset :?

From what I understand you reached the maxed registered handset, and you need to unregister one, not sure if you have the bad handset still or if it is functional to deregister the handset, but if you can not selectively unregister the handset to be replaced then yeah you will have to reset everything and reregister all handsets again sorry to say.
