I have my ooma forwarded to my home phone now and I would like for people to be able leave message on my home phones answering machine not in the oomas broadband voicemail. How do I do that? Thank you

Set Ooma's voicemail to pick up much later than the ring count for your answering machine. For example: if the answering machine picks up after 4 rings, set Ooma's voicemail to pick up after 8 rings.
That way the answering machine will get the first priority on unanswered calls and Ooma's voicemail will serve as a backup to catch the calls when either the answering machine or your home network is down.
Ooma customer since November 2009.
Formerly employed at another VoIP company.
My opinions are my own.

I interpreted your question different. You indicate that you have the Ooma number forwarded to a landline? A forwarded call I believe requires the answering party to press 1 toaccept the call, your answering machine obviously can not do this so the forwarded call will have to go to ooma voice mail.
