I have two ooma phone numbers.
Number 1 is connected from the hub to a fax (this is the number I use when I sign in here).
Number 2 is connected to a scout and is used for a voice line.
Number 1 is "shared"
Number 2 is associated with the scout.

If I call Number 2, it doesn't show up on the online call log.
If I leave a voice mail message for Number 2, the scout blinks and I can get the message from either the phone connected to the scout or from the scout itself. However, I can't get the message online or from the hub.

Since Number 1 would never get a voicemail (used exclusively for fax) this isn't very useful.
I suspect the problem is that Number 2 is associated with the scout. This is how I was told to hook it up to take care of my fax and voice lines.
To do what I would like (call log and VM for Number 2) should I:

Make Number 2 shared? If so, will that affect calls coming in for the fax?
Switch the lines and have Number 1 on the scout and Number 2 on the hub?
Something else?

If phone number 2 is assigned to a scout, you log into my.ooma using that phone number to get to it's logs and voice mail.
You assigned the password for the second number when you created the personal device.

OK, so now I just feel stupid.
The tech support person led me to believe that I'd always sign in with Number 1; apparently I misunderstood.
All is well - thanks for the quick response.
