New Telo base not working properly

I'm a new owner of the Telo style base. I connected several days ago and it worked perfectly. Yesterday it began doing the following:

-If someone calls me, the phone rings & I see their caller ID, but we can't hear each other.
-If I call out, I hear their phone ring once for 1/4 second or so and then silence. Their phone rings & they see my ID but when they answer they can't hear me & I'm still hearing silence.

My Ooma is hooked up between my cable modem & my router & has been since I installed it. I have reset the modem & Ooma several times with no result. My Internet connection has been working all along.

Any idea what's happening?

Do you have an integrated landline?
