If you place your hub before your router, it should really be password protected. Otherwise any one who knows the IP address of the hub can view/change your settings. Is there a way to do this??

Not true. Only access is from downstream, HOME port. Have someone from outside your LAN test it. Get your external IP from within the hub setup and see for yourself.
The nice thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise.Image

Checked it - no access from the outside. Thanks.

Regardless, though... it still makes good sense to have that password protection available and in place for the Ooma Hub, whether upstream or downstream. Most every other Router-capable home device has this and I don't see why if Ooma is to be the main (or only) router for the system that it doesn't adopt this policy. Yes, good point.
