New firmware draining handset batteries

Post by fastlane01 » Fri Nov 27, 2009 7:29 am

I am having a problem where the Telo handsets with new firmware 31720 is now cycling the battery over and over - it will charge then drain...

Anyone else seeing this? - i5 did not occur before and i had the handset since the 16th.

Is it doing this when it's in the cradle?

I'm not seeing that, when the battery is fully charged the battery level icon shows full and isn't animated to indicate charging.

Battery life is not very good on the handsets.

I don't trust the battery indicator on the phone. On mine it will go from a fill charge down to 25% in a two-minute call. This might be related to the firmware.

I am seeing similar things with my handset. I just installed it tw odays ago. The battery seems to drain very quickly with very little usage. I will keep an eye on it. I hope they fix this quickly.

It just started happening - before the new firmware battery life was actually ok.

It is doing in the charger - so it drains completely then starts recharging... it is very strange.
