Telo Set-up with home distribution

Post by wahmie » Mon Nov 09, 2009 8:12 am

My number ported today, phone line is disconnected and everything is working great!
I have my telo set-up with phone distribution and the phones connected to the phone line are working well.

I have one corded phone near the telo unit that I cannot figure out how to connect to get a signal. It is my home office phone which is located where the telo connects to my router. Before the porting, I had it connected to the phone jack in telo.

But now that I am using the home distribution set-up; the telo unit is using the phone jack in telo to the wall jack.

Where can I plug this phone to get a connection?

I need it to stay in my home office, but I don't have a second wall jack in my home office.

Will I need to install one?

Get a splitter and plug it into the wall jack. You can then plug your phone into one side and the Telo into the other side.
