WHEN SENDING A FAX I CAN HERE THE CALL BREAK UP. FAX WILL NOT GO THROUGH NO MATTER WHAT RESOLUTION. NO SPEED ADJUSTMENT.

ALSO DISH TV WILL NOT MAKE A CALL CONNECTION EITHER, (FAILURE)

BOTH OF THESE I TRIED USING THE *99

FAX AND DISH CONNECTED DIRRECTLY TO MAIN OOMA HUB, I HAVE NOTHING ELSE OOMA.

TRIED ALSO DISCONNECTING ALL INTERNET PAST OOMA. THOUGHT MAYBE OTHER COMPUTERS WERE CAUSING USAGE ISSUE.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A FIX? I HAD THIS SAME ISSUE USING ANOTHER DEVICE (ALOT CHEAPER DEVICE).

THANKS

DESPERATE TO FIX.

WOULD INCREASING MY INTERNET SPEED HELP. THEY HAVE A 5 MEG SPEED. COST A LOT MORE THOUGH.

If this is Hughes satellite internet access, then increasing your speed will not help with fax or other data calls - the latency with satellite internet is too high.

Yes Hughes Satellite internet service. Some one said I need a digital to analog converter. Never heard of that device.

I can't imagine that we have our government sitting in deserts in foreign countries and having no land line, can't send a fax using satellite.

There must be a fix.

It has been mentioned on these forums Ooma plans to provide a T.38 FoIP gateway (for an additional fee). it is likely that a T.38 gateway will fix your fax problem. In the meanwhile, there are internet fax services that may work for you.
