Out of my State number

I assigned a number for my sister in another state so she could call me free, BUT it didn't work??????????????

What do you mean by "It didn't work"
Did you get your hub or second line provisioned with a number that is local for your sister? or is your hub not working at all?

I got my hub provisioned with a local number where my sister lives.
When she tried to call she got nothing. Call did not come through.

Can you successfully call anyone using that line?

Is the ooma tab lit on top of the hub? what color?( make sure intensity wheel on the side of the unit is not turned all the way down!)

yes, the tab is blue and yes I can call from the ooma line. The number I gave my sister won't call through.

From ooma call a cell phone or any phone with caller ID
and see what number it show on the caller ID

Is the number on the Caller ID the out of state number you were assigned to ?
