I only used the two wires (original home and office) on the ruler in the phone box, separating them as much as possible (don't know if that has any inpact though) and the scout is now blue like the mediterranean sea !

Oh, and I also tested calling the "office" number and the kitchen doesn't ring on that one !!!

Hello again to all.

After getting the scout to be working in the kitchen for the whole afternoon (or so i believe), it has gone in a bizarre dynamic.

The light is blue, then the tab starts blinking, then it shuts off. Then it turns on again, the light is blue, then again it starts blinking. Oddly enough, when I disconnect it and reconnect it, I get the quadruple red. Then the blue, etc etc.

In the middle of all this, I still get a dialtone, but it is the "office" line that takes over, which is exactly what I don't want to happen.

Any suggestions as to what to do ?
