Hi Everyone!
With risk to sound clueless I would like to ask:
HOW DO YOU DISSABLE THE FIREWALL ON A MODEM?!?
I have Motorola sb5101e if that meters. The Ooma light is solid red. The Internet with no Ooma attached works fine. Could anyone post detailed instructions how to remove the firewall on the modem or be kind to point me to a web site with instructions? I will be very much greatfull for it.
Thank you!

Where are you located? That is a European cable modem. It does not have a firewall. When you change what is connected to a cable modem it is required that you power cycle (turn it off for 30 seconds) the cable modem to make it forget the MAC address of the last device that was connected to it.

I am in Europe and I have been having no luck with this modem at all. The Ooma teck support told me that it has firewall. If it does not then I am at lost sinse I have been power recicling it for ages with no sucsess.
