Temporary number after electing not to get one

I didn't elect to receive a temporary Ooma number on installation. I elected to just stay with my existing Comcast number. I am able to make calls, but my comcast number is showing on outgoing calls. I am porting my comcast numebr.

How do I get a temporary Ooma number so that I can forward my Comcast number to the temp Ooma number? Just sign up for a temporary number and disconnect phone line? Will I be able to make outgoing calls? It appears if I get a temporary Ooma number, I have to dial a **1 to have the temporary number show up on outgoing calls.

You have to call support and tell them that you want to switch from integrated with land line to not integrated with land line. Once you make the choice at registration there is no way to change it yourself.
