can't receive call

Post by stuman168 » Tue Aug 04, 2009 5:24 am

Hi,
I installed and activate the ooma phone few days ago. I also port the number and decided to keep the current number while porting. The phone worked fine even there was no blue light on ooma tab. The problem started after about 48 hours. I can't receive any call. all calls goes automatically to voicemail.
I reset the modem and ooma hub but it doesn't matter. the phone won't ring.
Anyone have an idea?

Turn up the brightness knob on the right side of the hub and / or scout.
Press and hold the envelope button until the red light goes out.

thanks murphy,
when I turn the brightness button. the blue lights came up and so does the envelope sign. I pressed until it's gone and now my phone is ringing again.

Hehe, usually the first Premier feature that users learn about when signing up for ooma is the "Do not Disturb" feature. Looks like you were one of us. However quickly reading the manual made me think of it after like 30 minutes, before I realized the site had a forum. I nearly called tech support! :)
