Thanks and that's the reason I bought Ooma to begin with so it can co-exist.

Nope. I have a base cordless phone that I plug into Ooma and the extended handsets are in other separate rooms.

I called ALLVOI and they are going to update the firmware on the phone adapater and will update shortly.

Not sure if I got the new firmware update but I was told to login to my phone adapater and set the setting to 'factory default' and voila, after 2 minutes of waiting, I could hear the dial-tone.

To re-cap, Ooma does work with wireless router and an additional VOIP phone adapter.
