Letter of Agreement

Post by ncfoster » Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:57 pm

I am in the process of initiating a port of my old phone number to Ooma. My question is this. My wife is listed as the account holder on the existing phone service. I setup the new service. It states at the top "The following section must be filled in by the account holder or business owner on the phone bill". My wife's information is there. When it asks for the information at the bottom, my information is automatically filled in. I presume that this is correct and ok? I don't want any snafus here. Thank you.

First off, welcome to ooma!

I always tend to err on the side of safety, so I would recommend calling the porting group at 1 888 711-6662 (option 1, then option 2) and let them know the situation. Then if there are any questions, they already know the answers.

Yeah, I had just gotten done talking to them, and I was hoping to do the whole process on the phone, but then the rep seemed to suggest there was no benefit in doing so. Then, of course, I noticed this...

...and now they are closed.

Thanks, though.
