This is interesting because I have had issues with Red Light blinking. I found out that the reason was due to my cable router DHCP settings. So, to resolve this issue, I had to reconnect OOMA in a particular order:

1. Disconnect ALL devices power.

2. Reconnect Cisco (Cox Cable) and wait about 30 seconds.

3. Reconnect Cisco E4200 router. (My internal router) Wait another 30 seconds or so

4. Reconnect OOMA. Boot time is lengthy but does connect.

My setup: Cable Router---> Internal Router ----> OOMA. I didn't like OOMA sitting outside my internal network.

All routers have DHCP but this also works if I set Static Routes on all my devices.
