Successful Installation first time

Just a quick post. My Ooma Telo installation was as advertised and documented.
Well done! All systems are functional. I spent about 2 hours in all. This was
installation, an automatic reboot-update sequence, and a detailed review
of my account page . ( I did spend a lot of time finding a phone number
that I liked) :D . I called friends and had them call back and confirm
calls recieved and that voicemail is functioning. I may be getting tired but,
I seem to have missed the proceedure for adding a voice mail greeting.
I will have to get back to that one. For me, the system worked and worked well.

Voice mail is operational.
( I was tired, it was right in front of me the whole time)

Now I have to cancel PacBell and figure out how to tap into the house
telephone wires to include the other phone. I guess that will be under
/homedistribution. We'll see how that one goes tomorrow.

The main thing is to disconnect the House wiring from the PacBell wiring that comes in from the street. There is usually a box on the outside of the house where this can be done.

If you have problems with this, post a picture of your connection in this forum thread. Someone will tell you which wires to disconnect.

Then it's a matter of connecting a phone cord from the Ooma Telo Phone port, to one of the house wall jacks.
