porting old #

I believe I'm setup OK Have Telo W/O wall port. I'm porting old #. Must I not connect Telo until porting comes through? I don't want to use temp #. But keep using old one?

It is fine to start using your Telo. Only downside is people would see your temp number as callerid.
You can also forward your existing service calls to your Ooma temp number to make it more convenient for you.

Once porting is done, your temp number becomes your secondary number. If you don't continue with Premier, your 2ndary number just drops off your account.

Once you get porting started, make sure you check your status often here: https://my.ooma.com/porting_status

Also, keep your existing service active until port complete. Then call them to make sure your existing service is cancelled.
