Ooma setup is working fine with a portable phone (2 handsets)

Ooma is not working when plugged into the house telephone jack.

Trying to have all wall landlines (corded and not corded) in house use Ooma

Picture of my outdoor telphone box is posted here. Cable Company said
they physically came to house and disconnected cable.

Any suggestions to fix this so we can use Ooma on all phones?

Need this for business calls to house.

Thank you very much for any help suggested.

Cable company did a messy job. Cut wires but not take out what's on the screws... I seen this a lot.
But you should be good to go though. Just make sure you connect a phone cord from Ooma's phone port to a wall jack. Using the same wall jack that your cable modem's phone port used to connect to would be the 1st option. Make sure you disconnect the phone cord from cable modem from the wall jack first.

THANK YOU !! The last sentence: "Make sure you disconnect the phone cord from cable modem from the wall jack first".
solved the whole mystery. Just unplugging the phone jack from the cable connection inside the house .....Now all the house phones (landline & corded) work ! ! !

THANK YOU SO MUCH...NOW WE CAN KEEP OOMA SERVICE :) - MAYBE OOMA SHOULD INCLUDE THAT SENTENCE IN THEIR "CONNECTING YOUR PHONE JACKS - HOME DISTRIBUTION SECTION ON INSTRUCTIONS.
