I have an Ooma Hub and Scout setup on a two-line phone.
- Ooma Hub Wall port is connected to Scout Wall port.
- Ooma Hub Phone port is connected to L1 of a three port splitter (L1, L2, L1+L2)
- Ooma Scout Phone port is connected to L2 of splitter.
- Two-line phone is connected to L1+L2 port of splitter.
When I get an incoming call, both Lines 1 and 2 light up. Is this normal? I contacted Ooma support and the young lady I spoke with tells me this is the expected result.

This seems counter-intuitive. Any help is appreciated.

That is very good information. Thank you.
This brings up another question. If my first personal number is busy, will an incoming call roll over to the second personal number?

Thank you again for your response...

If you are using the number assigned to the personal device, you'll hear call waiting beep. If you don't answer, it will go into VM. It won't ring your other number(s).

If you have another Scout, you can make that shared and if you are on a shared number and a call comes in, you'll hear the call waiting beep and any phone connected to this shared Scout would ring.

If you have them all shared, then rolling over happens. If you are only worried about not knowing which number someone called, just assign different ring patterns to the different numbers and leave them as shared numbers.
