Hi all,

Just hooked up my Ooma and registered. If I connect a phone directly to the Ooma box, I get the Ooma chime and then a dial tone. If I take that phone line and plug it into my whole home wiring, line number 1 on the Ooma box turns red, and there is no dial tone? Any ideas?

**Update ...after letting the Ooma Telo sit for a few minutes..the problem resolved itself?? Weird. Works great now though!

Is your house wiring physically disconnected from the phone company at your NIB outside the house? If not, you may damage your Ooma.
