Wall jack/phone jack backwards on Telo?

Post by kargo27 » Tue Nov 22, 2011 4:24 pm

I have our home phone line (the phone line that is running through our walls) plugged into the "phone" jack.

Shouldn't it be plugged into the "wall" jack? If I plug a dedicated landline phone into the "wall" jack I get nothing. No dial tone or anything.

Is this right?

You have connected the house phone wiring correctly. The Ooma Telo Phone Wall port is not used. It was used for another feather, which isn't used any more. New Ooma Telos don't even have the Ooma Telo Phone Wall port installed.
