Ooma updates a national caller-ID database with your name and number when you activate your service.
Some phone companies will only periodically update their database, so if your name does not show up when another person receives a phone call from you, it could be that the phone company delivering the call to the other person has not been updated yet. https://www.ooma.com/app/support/caller-id-issuesTemporary Work Around (some if this works for some people, and some doesn't)?
Go to My Ooma
https://my.ooma.com/contacts , Add and Save a Contact with your Caller Id information.
If you can add the same caller Id information in your phone, add your Caller ID inforamtion in your phone also.
Power off the Ooma device for 20 minutes. This allows time for the Ooma servers to reload/reset/correct your Ooma profile. Then repower the Ooma device and test.
Try using the prefix *82 (Send outgoing caller-id for this phone call).
Example *82-1-xxx-xxx-xxxx
Also if you can, have the person that you are calling program your Name and Phone number in their phone.
