Kitchen phone ringer on max still get soft (but audible) ring.

I'll look at costco this week see what they have and let you know.

I'm most appreciative for your help.

Why doesn't Ooma let us (it's customers) know of this workaround (other than the rather obvious fact that the will loose revenue on their handheld sets)

It's just by accident that i discovered that I didn't need to hardwired to use other brands of handset.

Ooma tells folks they just need their regular home phones.
