Hi
I'm a new Ooma Telo user.
Ooma ported over my land line yesterday. I was completely surprised at how fast and well everything happened. The porting process took only 2 days after I submitted my request...Thanks.
The original land line phones are connected to the Ooma. The POTS line to the house was manually disconnected.
I already paid for the Premier service for a year. Right now, the original temporary number still shows up as a shared number. I've read that this number should go away after some point. I don't want it. Is there a time frame before this number is removed? Do I need to perform any action such as deleting Voice Mail messages? My wife would prefer to have a different area code number as the shared line but I can't make this happen until the temporary number goes away.

Call Customer Support and tell them you didn't want to keep the temporary number.
