I currently am the owner of Ooma Hub with a Ooma Scout. I have many phones and it works O.K.
I was going to buy the Ooma Telo (high fidelity) and have a question about the other phones. The way I have it is through a phone line (dead) and pass the phone signal that way.
Is the Ooma Telo similar? It does not work with the Ooma Scout.
Does it connect through the line and it works? How does it work? Your documents don't mention it anywhere, or I didn't find it.

You can distribute ooma dialtone with Telo just like the Hub but Telo doesn't have a partner device like Scout (for Hub only) that can put out it's own dialtone (for instant second line or personal second line) and act as a messaging center. With Telo, the only way to get instant second line or personal 2nd line is via the Telo handset.
