Bluetooth DECT cordless

Post by bukzin » Sat Sep 03, 2011 10:34 am

OK, seems I need to upgrade my old cordless phone system (Uniden 5.8Ghz) to a DECT 6.0

What will I get by spending extra money to get a model with Bluetooth capability?

Any models I may want to avoid?

I have Premier and want the max out of my set up.
Ooma Telo
box part # 110-0102-310
Premier service

no Telo handset (yet)

About bluetooth, you may want to take a look at this thread. viewtopic.php?t=12290 I posted a couple of links to AT&T DECT 6.0 phones, you can't go wrong with any of them models. The question is whether you can get a better deal with different brand/model?

One example model, here is the manual: http://att.vtp-media.com/ecp/documents/ ... ual_i4.pdf
Customer Since: 3/13/10
Hardware: Telo & Hub
Service: Premier 12/06/10
Verizon Port: 3/15/10 - 4/02/10
Internet: 100 Mbps/10 Mbps
Setup: SB6141/R6700/Ooma

Well, I just picked up a new Panasonic 6.0 phone system that actually has Bluetooth capabilities to my cell phone, so that leads me to believe that I really don't need Ooma's Bluetooth adapter. My Panny phone system seems to be doing that very well so far.
