Telo installed without a hitch. Receive dial tone and can make and receive calls. Problem at hand, the Telo is constantly counting "one, two, three, four" in a female voice - for the last 20 hours! Fortunately it's located in an A/V closet so I lost no sleep however I can't get this thing to stop.

That sounds like the speaker button is self triggering. Did you try to press it to see if it resets? Did you try power cycling the Telo?
