The Ethernet cable that come with Ooma device has in the past been reported to have been defective. Try another standard Ethernet cable.BigPoppy wrote:I tried to use a standard ethernet cable and they don't work. Does this connection require a crossover cable?
Thanks in advance
Make sure you aren't using the phone cable. It's easy to get the cables mixed up.
Make sure you see the two lights lit, at the Ooma Device's Internet port. One is solid and the other will flash.
If you still can't get you Ooma device going, post what is happening. What lights you see. How you have your Ooma setup, Modem-Ooma-Router, or Modem-Router-Ooma.
