I recently bought a used ooma telo from craigslist.
The person who sold me the device said the device has been activated.

Now I have option to keep my number or reactivate it.
As I see, if I need to re-activate it, I will need to pay ooma.

But if I need to keep the number, I need the access which I dont have.
As the the seller has registered with the website and he wont give me his user id and password.

So what do I need to do to keep the number same and (not re-activate) but get access to
the web portal ?

Factory refurbs incur no reactivation fees. Only used ones. Nice avatar btw.

Yes, I found it, I missed the first time. And, thanks!

What is the difference between a used device and a refurbished device?
Refurbished devices are units that have been returned to Ooma and which have been restored to factory new condition, tested for functionality and repackaged for sale. Refurbished Ooma products do not need to be reactivated and come with our standard one-year warranty. You can learn more by reading our refurbished devices FAQ.
