How do I know when my number gets ported?

Hi. I ported my number, but they said it could take up to 3 weeks for the number to be officially ported. How will I know when my number has successfully been ported?

Your phone line will go dead on the morning of the port. Calls to your number will report an inactive number.
Later in the day the number will start working on the Ooma box. You should get an email saying the port is complete.
You may or may not have to power cycle your Ooma box.
