here is my scenario now: modem (bridge mode) -- ooma (pppoE) (with dhcp start 172.27.35.10, end 172.27.35.60 and Dmz 172.27.35.25) -- linksys wrt54gl dhcp (172.27.35.25) .

I didn't try yet to configure my dyndns .... some sugestions to start over :)

Set the start and end IP addresses in the Ooma to 172.27.35.25.
This guarantees that the router will always get 172.27.35.25 when it requests an IP address.

do I miss something ..... i did it what you suggest but still not working...
Btw : i can ping my network from the outside network but when I try http://xxxxxx.dyndns.org:8080
not working :?:

If you ping xxxxxx.dyndns.org does it return your external IP address whether or not the ping actually works?

Do you have port 8080 forwarded in your router to whatever it is you are trying to access on your network?

Are you running the DynDNS client software on a 24/7 PC on your network? You can't use the DynDNS "feature" that is built into your router when it is behind the Ooma box.

The command is

ping xxx.dyndns.org

The response should be

Pinging xxx.dyndns.org [w.x.y.z] with 32 bytes of data:

where w.x.y.z is your external IP address.

Disable the DMZ in the Ooma box and forward port 8080 to 172.27.35.25 in the Ooma box.

What are you trying to acess at 8080?

Can you access it from inside of your network at
http://172.27.35.25:8080

That would only use your router and not involve Ooma.
I'm assuming that your router supports loopback.

Now we are getting somewhere. You are trying to access your router remotely.
I thought you were trying to access a camera on your network.
Remove the port forwarding from your router for port 8080.
The forward of port 8080 in the Ooma box should be all that you need to get to the router's web page.
