So I got in the office this morning to track down what was the cause of these connectivity issues that affected 2-3% of customers on Dec. 24th.

There weren't any ooma service outages, but we did detect a problem with with a Level 3 communications backbone that is used by several Internet Service Providers (ISPs). This likely caused connectivity issues (either due to missing IP routes or flakey Internet connections) to many different Internet networks, including the ooma network.
