Summary: This is a sales support role to give back end support to the retail sales team as they manage and grow retail partners. This role will include working on growth strategies for new/current items/ categories by developing strong sales driven marketing campaigns that deliver optimal ROI. The person will help track, drive analysis for various campaigns that we run across retail. This position requires the ability to manage multiple, detailed tasks with urgency and accuracy as well as the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize workload. Collaboration and communication skills are also critical attributes of this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promotion Road map – Pull weekly, monthly, Quarterly and YTD performance data. • Help in sales forecasting by looking/analyzing trends based on the campaigns that are running. Maintain/update weekly promotion calendar, track other measurable metrics. Analyze weekly sales lift against the metrics. This involves getting on retailer portals like Amazon Vendor central etc.
  • Review weekly orders to ensure everything is on track to ship.
  • Manage/Drive Vendor portals – Develop strong product/category sales campaigns utilizing online Best deals, coupon and headline ad promotions to drive profitable sales and meet targeted ROI goals.
  • Monitor marketplace patterns and trends to support our Amazon growth strategy and make recommendations related to competitive assortment, pricing, content and consumer engagement.
  • Co-ordinate and follow up with marketing teams to create product and brand assets to support retail marketing plans. Be detailed and follow through on the check list of things/timeline.
  • Help the teams to ensure product set up is correct. Working closely with marketing in re-evaluating A+ marketing content.
  • Supports in driving retailer marketing tools e.g. AMS. Drive the engine by setting up new campaigns, optimize, track weekly, run analysis, look for new opportunities that will help drive conversions. Find ways to get new traffic to the products. Create copy utilizing keyword search, consumer information and competitor insights. Manage budgets closely for Amazon and other retailers. Closely track sales against AMS
  • Brand Stores – Drive changes as new features launch, re-evaluate and recommend changes to help drive better conversions.
  • Content Development & Optimization – Work with marketing to develop, maintain and enhance product titles, content descriptions, categorization, and keywords to improve page rank and consumption.
  • Amazon Reviews- Actively monitor reviews and customer inquiries to gain insights on product gaps and opportunities. Respond to the reviews/questions within 24hours if other organizations are not responding.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years’ experience with Amazon Vendor, working AMS preferred or 3-5 years’ experience in retail eCommerce, online marketing or category insights management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Retail Merchandising, Advertising, Business, or related field
  • Strong understanding of retail inventory management, sales analysis, and marketing
  • Proficient with using Excel for data manipulation and analytics
  • Ability to manage the workload & conflicting priorities to meet deadlines
  • Self-starter individual, strategic thinker, problem solver with fact based analytics
  • Exceptional project management, partnering and collaboration skills is a plus
  • Positive attitude and strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently
