Accounting Manager

Job Title: Accounting Manager

We are looking for an Accounting Manager who thoroughly understand general accounting, accounts payable, intercompany transactions, external audits and SOX compliance. We need someone who has month end close skills and an ability to collaborate across all levels.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure the execution of monthly, quarterly and year end close under the company’s financial close timeline
  • Manage month end closing and responsible for OPEX accruals, including open PO’s accruals
  • Responsible for preparing flux analysis of income statement and balance sheet accounts
  • Perform month-end reconciliation of designated balance sheet accounts, including all cash accounts.
  • Responsible for international registrations and VAT/GST filings
  • Lead and manage Accounts Payable staff and manage overall Accounts Payable function
  • Daily management of full cycle Accounts Payable department
  • Manage annual 1099 reporting process
  • Assist with the coordination and gathering of documents to support auditor’s requests
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Vision and ability to identify and implement process improvements in the Accounts Payable area as part of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support ERP enhancements and other system projects
  • Support Assistant Controller and Corporate Controller on special projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, with a minimum 7 years related accounting and finance experience
  • Big 4 desired
  • Accounts payables software implementation knowledge a plus
  • Experience in NetSuite is a plus
  • Self-driven and resourceful to meet deadlines, achieve goals, work independently as well as work well in teams or groups
  • Strong interpersonal, excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to multi-task, work under stressful conditions, and meet deadlines
  • Able to thrive in a fast pace-setting
  • Strong Excel skills with proficient understanding of systems
  • Robust analytical and problem solving skills, with great attention to detail
  • Solid organizational skills
