2nd number after porting

I'm having my existing home phone number ported. Will the number that Ooma gave me origionaly be my second number or will I be able to pick a different one. In the future I plan on using the Ooma in 2 different parts of the country and would like a different area code for that number. I am signed up for the premier service.

Tell them that you don't want to keep the temporary number.
Then you can select a number anywhere in the US that you want.
