MagicJack is a joke! I’m glad I didn’t wait until this promotion to dump MagicJack and get the ooma. The MagicJack was such a pain! The computer had to be on and the software running in order to make or receive calls. And every time you have to reboot, you have to waith for the software to start up again–and that took several minutes! If you’ve ever used a MagicJack, you know what I’m saying is true. If you don’t have one, don’t waste your $40.00. Even if it were $5.00 it would be $5.00 too much. But the ooma is great! I’ve had it since January and no problems at all. Great call quality all the time. My wife thinks the dial-tone sounds a little funny, but to me, that’s the sound of saving money (and that doesn’t sound funny at all)!
