Sweet!, I just spoke Hannah at OOMA tech Support and They will honor the previous TOS if you sign-up or upgrade to the premier byl Oct 31st. This means I can sign up for the premier service for $99/year as I was on a trial. Hopefully they notify people via email or their lounge.

Wow - it looks like Ooma is turning into the same kind of company that they claim to be replacing.
Monthly fees, annual plans, what used to be free is now 'bundled' with fee-based plans...where does it end?
Let's see - If try to replace my current landline, what's it cost?

Telo = $250.00 (plus tax and/or shipping)
Premier = $120.00
Port a second number = $40
Annual Taxes and fees = $12.00 (for now)
Total = $422.00 upfront, $132.00 annually (for now)

The main reason I bought ooma was to rid the phone bills. This info doesn't bother me because I don't need the VM or the Premier service. I had thought the residential, domestic calling to was unlimited previously. Curious what it was increased from to 5,000 min per month. I already spent my $200 ooma. Stop trying to sell me stuff.

Look, whining people. You can still dump the phone company and the monthly bills. Just use a ding-dang home phone that has an answering machine. Now you got voice mail. And if you use a wireless one with satellite phones, you got multiple phones with no Scouts required. Whaddya want, Ooma to pay off your mortgage, too?

i called up OOMA customer service and was told that basic voicemail (voicemail on the hub) is still free and only enhanced voicemail (access to voicemail on the web and from other phones) is part of Premier. Can anyone confirm that?

I see a lot of questions, but no answers. I did not realize minute limitations existed with ooma. What were they? Is this still better than other VOIP options?

Bait and switch? I got an ooma hub just a month ago thinking voicemail would be included in perpetuity even without Premier. Am I interpreting it correctly that ooma is *removing* a standard feature (voicemail) if I don't subscribe to Premier?
