What is the difference between Ooma's basic service and Ooma Premier?

Ooma's free tier of basic service is everything you will need to make and receive phone calls without ever having to worry about another monthly phone bill again. This includes PureVoice and HD Voice technology, basic caller-ID and voicemail, and more.Ooma Premier is a subscription-based level of service that gives you access to all of the Ooma advanced calling features. I thought Ooma didn't charge for phone service. Why do I have to pay for Ooma Premier?

Ooma does not charge monthly fees for basic phone service. With Ooma Premier, we've developed a suite of unique features to make your home phone work work like it never has before. Many of these features aren't available anywhere else, or come with substantial monthly fees. We charge a nominal fee for customers who would like to use Ooma Premier features in order to fund the maintenance of current features and the development of new features. Many of our customers love these extra features, and we hope that you will too.

How much does Ooma Premier cost?

Ooma Premier costs $9.99 per month, or $119.99 per year. When you purchase an annual subscription to Ooma Premier, you'll also get to pick one of the following bonuses:

• A free phone number port (a $39.99 value)
• An Ooma Telo Handset (a $49.99 value)
• An Ooma Bluetooth Adapter (a $29.99 value)

Does my Ooma Premier subscription also cover the cost of my mandatory taxes and fees?

No. Your Ooma Premier subscription is separate from the taxes and fees that are due on your account.

How do I sign up for Ooma Premier?

You can subscribe to Ooma Premier by visiting http://my.ooma.com/premier and following the instructions on that page. You can choose between a monthly and an annual subscription, and check out once you've added your subscription to your shopping cart.

Does my Ooma Premier subscription automatically renew or do I need to keep purchasing it?

Once you have subscribed to Ooma Premier, your subscription will automatically renew and charge the credit card you have on file.

Can I purchase an Ooma Premier subscription as a gift for someone else?

At this time, it is not possible to purchase a gift subscription for someone else.

Can I purchase a lifetime membership for Ooma Premier?

It is not currently possible to purchase a lifetime membership for Ooma Premier, but we may offer lifetime memberships for purchase again in the future.

How do I unsubscribe from Ooma Premier?

We'll be very sorry to see you go, but if you would like to discontinue your Ooma Premier subscription you can do so by contacting a Customer Care representative

If I unsubscribe from Ooma Premier, what happens to the Premier features such as my second phone number?

When an Ooma Premier subscription is deactivated, all of the premium features that were in use are also deactivated. You will still have access to all of the basic features of your Ooma account, and we'll reserve your phone number for up to 60 days. If you ever choose to renew your Ooma Premier subscription your account's settings will be saved and reenabled.
