Most Ooma devices activate within minutes. However, from time to time we encounter scenarios where the device does not activate.
Here are the most common reasons customers' run into activation errors:
- If you accidentally entered an invalid Activation code, you will receive the message: “You have entered an incorrect activation code. Please check & try entering again”
- If the activation code does not exist in our system, please check the label and enter the code again. If you still cannot activate your Ooma device, please call customer service.
- If you receive a 1000/300 error, please call customer service. This typically means you are attempting to activate a device that was previously owned, in which case a $79.99 reactivation fee applies.
